45萬人的東南亞小國，國土被馬來西亞砂勞越分割和環繞，但經濟表現在東南亞名列前茅，人均GDP和台灣差不多。國家主要收入為石油和天然氣，社會福利相當完善，人民也不用繳個人所得稅。國家的最高領袖是國王，也稱做蘇丹，擁有行政和軍事實權，是絕對君主制的國家。國教是伊斯蘭教，整個國家實施嚴格的伊斯蘭律法。

Brunei is a small Southeast Asian country with a population of 450,000. The country is divided and surrounded by Sarawak of Malaysia, but its economic performance is among the best in Southeast Asia, with a GDP per capita similar to Taiwan. The country mainly generates its revenue through oil and natural gas production. It has a quite comprehensive social welfare system and citizens are exempted from personal income tax. 

The head of state is the king, also known as the sultan, who holds de facto administrative and military power, and the state is an absolute monarchy. The state religion is Islam, and the entire country implements strict Islamic law or Shariah.
