位於東南亞，被南海分成東馬和西馬兩個部份。1957年從英國殖民統治獨立，1965年新加坡分離後成為現在的馬來西亞。早期以農業和自然資源為經濟基礎，歷經四十多年轉型，現在朝多元發展，為全球前四十大經濟體。

國內種族多元，因憲法特別保障馬來人和原住民權利，族群之間的矛盾時會被用於政治操作。我特別向馬來西亞人徵文，大家不約而同都說馬來西亞什麼都好，只有政府不好。

Located in Southeast Asia, Malaysia is divided by the South China Sea into East Malaysia and West Malaysia. 

A former British colony, it gained independence in 1957 and became the Malaysia we know today after the secession of Singapore in 1965. With agriculture and natural resources as the economic foundation in the early days, Malaysia is now one of the top 40 economies in the world, after more than four decades of transformation through diversified development. 

The country is ethnically diverse, and because the Constitution specifically secures the rights of Malays and indigenous peoples, conflicts between ethnic groups would be used for political gains from time to time. I made a point to ask for input from Malaysians and they all agreed on one thing: everything about Malaysia is great except the government.
