Tanzania is a country in East Africa. Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, is within its territory. About 38% of the nation’s territory is designated as conservation areas. Serengeti National Park showcases a massive annual migration of more than 1.5 million wildebeest, 500,000 gazelle, and about 250,000 zebra every year. This spectacular migration, has given rise to the popularity of high-end safaris to the vast and magnificent Serengeti. Compared to its neighboring countries, Tanzania enjoys relative political stability and a low conflict rate. Despite being one of the least developed countries, Tanzania’s Global Peace Index score is higher than average, comparable to that of South Korea, according to The Economist.
