位於東非的群島國家，所有島嶼面積加起來僅455平方公里，大概是1.6個台北市。島上人口以原住民居多，另外還有來自法國、非洲、印度、中國等國的移民。經濟策略偏重計畫經濟，政府和國有企業聘雇了全國三分之二的勞動力。以2020年人均GDP來算，是非洲國家中唯一的高收入經濟體，人類發展指數也是全非洲第二高，也被國際透明組織評為全非洲最清廉的國家，剛好在台灣前一名。

Seychelles is an archipelagic island country to the east of Africa. The combined area of all its 115 islands is only 455 square kilometers, about 1.6 times the size of Taipei City. The population of the country are mostly indigenous people. There are also immigrants from France, Africa, India, China and other countries. Its economic policy adopted a planned-economy-leaning approach. The government and state-owned enterprises employ two-thirds of the country’s workforce. In terms of its GDP per capita in 2020, it is the only high-income economy among African countries, and its Human Development Index score is also the second highest in Africa. Seychelles has also been rated as the least corrupt country in Africa by Transparency International, with its ranking just one place ahead of Taiwan.
