台灣邦交國之一，同時也和撒拉威共和國、科索沃共和國建立邦交，是個喜歡和未經廣泛承認實體交朋友的國家（？）。傳統經濟是林業，國內盛產高價值木材，現在則以甘蔗、水果等經濟作物為主。自然資源也非常豐富，擁有世界第二大珊瑚礁群及馬雅文化遺跡。但觀光業受到疫情影響，現在外債比GDP還高，全國仍有40%人口在貧窮線下。於2020年9月和台灣簽訂台貝經濟合作協定。

Belize is our diplomatic ally and tends to establish diplomatic relations with entities with limited recognition, such as the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and the Republic of Kosovo. Its traditional economy is based on forestry and the country produces many high-value wood products. Its economy is based on cash crops, such as sugarcane and fruits. Belize has abundant natural resources and is known for having the world’s second-largest coral reefs and Mayan ruins. Its tourism industry has been greatly affected by Covid-19, leading to its foreign debt now being higher than its GDP. Around 40% of the population still lives below the poverty line. In September 2020, the Taiwan-Belize Economic Cooperation Agreement was signed.
